Am I more part of the problem at UPS or am I part of the solution at UPS?
I only come close to an answer when I break down the walls of denial in myself and reach for my inner Intetgrity.

UPS pays people extremely well to help them service the customers.
No matter what anyone says on this message board, I'm happy that I work for a company that has smart enough people at the top to steer us through that major recession (depression) we just experienced and actually make money doing it.

I will expect to be taken care of this coming labor contract for the more work and hours I produced for UPS with the additional harassment.

But it is clear, we DO NOT work for some evil company that preys on the unfortunate.

They are a successful company that makes profits on service !! Not fees, interest charges, or payday loans !!!

Trust me, UPS doesn't do everything right or treat its employees great at times but that happens in every big company.

As for myself, I signed up to work late and get paid great !! I started at 9.50 an hour and worked my off to my $32 plus.
It pays for my mortgage, car, lights, heat, beer, food, baseball tickets, etc !!

I've worked in the same center for 18 years.
Made hardly no money, had no seniority, up at 330 am every morning, went to school or my part time job afterwards.
I did it because I saw the big picture !!

Fast forward to last year. Had the worst center manager ever. Loved the toxic environment he created and I was even suspended for 2 weeks !

We all deal with BS

It's how you handle it that defines you !!!!!!

Made hardly no money, had no seniority, up at 330 am every morning, went to school or my part time job afterwards.
I did it because I saw the big picture !!

Fast forward to last year. Had the worst center manager ever. Loved the toxic environment he created and I was even suspended for 2 weeks !

We all deal with BS

It's how you handle it that defines you !!!!!!

I have a feeling the reason you can't might have something to do with how you speak to people, even if your on line personality is an extreme of that.
