Months of collective bargaining have culminated in a tentative agreement for UPS (NYSE: UPS) and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The five-year agreement, which is subject to ratification, covers Teamsters-represented UPS employees in small package roles.

UPS’s goal has been to reward the company’s employees for their contributions to its success while enabling the business to remain flexible to meet its customers’ needs – each of these goals have been met in the new agreement. UPS is well-positioned to grow and meet the needs of its customers.

Negotiations continue on a number of supplemental agreements that cover local work rules as well as the separate agreement that covers about 11,000 Teamsters-represented employees in the UPS Freight® network.

The new agreements will go into effect August 1, 2018, once they are ratified by employees.
  2. See this is why I’m mad... no onone mentioned this to us. I’m off today but this thread was made Friday morning. I know the stewards know about this. Why ain’t they talking to us!!??! Now I gotta go to hem about what I’m learning here like I’ve BEEN doing (and will prolly make them wonder how I’m keeping up to date so much..)
  3. Don't you get the text updates.?
  4. No, I don’t get anything. And I could have sworn I signed up for them. I know it was a lot things intentionally done to rig how information got out. Like when the flyers voting to approve the strike where being collected. Something fishy is going on.
  5. 86466.
  6. Should I text strike to this number or something teamster friendly?
  7. How about Hoffa sucks
