    UPS asks Memphis for $38M in tax breaks for additional expansions - Atlanta Business Chronicle

    UPS is among a pair of companies currently enjoying Tennessee tax incentives that are asking for more from the Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE) in the Memphis area.

    Atlanta-based United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS) is asking for a $38 million tax break in Memphis and Shelby County to help it invest $217 million and create 25 jobs. Wisconsin-based City Brewing Co., d.b.a. Blues City Brewery, is seeking a $3.7 million abatement in exchange for investing $49 million and hiring 155.
