U.S. Department of Commerce and UPS work together to help U.S. companies increase their exports and grow their business

UPS® (NYSE: UPS), a global logistics provider and leading advocate for trade liberalization, applauds the introduction of the Department of Commerce-led initiative to increase trade with Mexico and the 10 other Latin American economies with which the U.S. has free trade agreements.

"UPS is excited about the new business opportunities the Look South initiative will bring for businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises, to expand into these growing markets," said Romaine Seguin, President of UPS Americas Region. "UPS has been a strategic partner to the U.S. Department of Commerce for years, helping our customers to expand into new countries and understand the benefit trade brings to their bottom line. This initiative will provide even more opportunities to leverage federal programs that can help companies sell more American products throughout the region."

UPS also continues to be one of the leaders in the business community's efforts to support and advocate for a successful conclusion to the negotiations of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership, and Trade in Services Agreement that will stimulate economic growth and job opportunities in the United States.
