The Mesquite City Council on Monday approved an incentive agreement to allow for the expansion and modernization of the United Parcel Service (UPS) facility at 4200 Samuell Blvd. UPS has been in Mesquite since the early 1980s.
“They have been in this community for almost 35 years and are a major engine to our economy,” said Tom Palmer, Mesquite Economic Development director. “They have been a major employer. They have up to 2,500 workers.”
