UPS Drop box security question

Hey I put something in the drop box that is extremely important, how secure are the UPS drop boxes? Can someone just simply break into them using force?

And what about "shoulder surfing" as they thieves call it, is that possible with the UPS drop box?

Please help, I'm just tripping hard core right now in my head.

Okay, what did you put in there that's got you "trippin hard"?

They are not simple to break into, hence why would someone go through the trouble of trying to break into one? How often do people break into mail boxes hoping to find items of value?

Nothing a 4wd truck and a chain couldn't take care of.

well I'm not worried about that, if that happens at least I know my **** got tampered with. I'm more worried about taking apart the drop box, or physically opening some how, or shoulder surfing.

Theyre booby trapped, so if someone breaks in one they'll be hanging in a net when the driver goes to pick up from it.

Now that's what I'm talking about.

but seriously lol

these things can't be shoulder surfed or anything?

Welcome to the bc Snook.JMHO, Even thieves know that these boxes are generally used for documents.
Jacking them open would be unprofitable, and the whole box itself wouldn't be worth the effort for the $8 in
scrap metal.Relax.Since you insured it,(you insured it,right?)
The chances it not arriving at it's destination are almost nil.

It would be easier to haul the whole drop box away like you could do with an ATM machine than to break into it. Nobody ever tries because inside are mostly documents of no value to other people.

Alright I guess I gotta give more helpful info. It's a paternity test, I don't want my swabs switched out though by somebody. That's what I'm saying here.

It is possible to pry the door open using a crow bar.

Yea but I'd be able to tell if the thing got busted into like that. Not too worried about something like that. As long as no one can stick an arm into the thing.

......don't think we have ever had one broken into, but our 5-step contraband inspection back at the center will usually expose anything that is extremely important: (drugs, alcohol, firearms, illegal shipments, anything that could be considered pornographic

Was your return address clearly marked? If there is any problem, we will contact you by middle of the afternoon on Monday.
