UPS earns shot at millions in federal work - Business First
United Parcel Service Inc. is one of three companies that are eligible to provide delivery services under an $853.3 million U.S. Defense Department contract.
The contract, awarded this month by The U.S. Transportation Command, also named Federal Express and Polar Air Cargo as potential vendors for “international commercial express package service (shipments up to and including 300 pounds) for the federal government to include all civilian agencies/organizations,” according to a Defense Department news release.
