Nope, I never got that booklet nor any literature explaining that. Nor did anyone else in my area that I talked to. As I have seen other people say, every person who retires gets treated as if they are the first person who ever retired. I got my pension the first month (although it took them 5 months to figure out they owed me another $1.50 per month) but it took almost 6 months to get me health insurance straightened out. I finally got someone to figure out that my status was entered in database incorrectly, and the only person with database access in my building was never available nor returned any calls. I finally had to go over his head to his boss to get it straightened out. Meanwhile at UPS benefits they would tell me they had all of the required paperwork and then sent me a letter cancelling my insurance. They admitted I was qualified but had to let them send me a refund check then send my premium back to them. Never any explanation why they screwed up so badly nor any apologies. And another driver who retired from my center a few months before I did went through the same problem. And the union? The "helpful" BA claimed I was the first one who had problems when it was happening to almost everyone.
