UPS part of a class action suit along with Ticketmaster?

Has anyone heard news of this lawsuit? My guess is that since we deliver many tickets bought via Ticketmaster we're involved in some form.

Part of it as we were the carrier involved yes. Part of the conspiracy to profit from it? Doubtful. Ticketmaster had a contracted price for shipping. If Ticketmaster then profited of of padding the charges then its all on them.

Cachsux has it dead-on. They were taking our rates and up-charging the customers for "shipping and handling."

That shouldn't even be a case. Technically they can call anything "handling" and charge whatever they want for it.

As I re-read, "class action" is sometimes code for "lawyers wanting a pay day".
