UPS to assist in national coronavirus response - Louisville Business First The federal government has asked United Parcel Service Inc. to join in its fight against the coronavirus. UPS (NYSE: UPS) will be assisting with logistics planning and operations to support the opening of drive-up community testing sites for the COVID-19 coronavirus, according to a news release. According to Michelle Polk, spokesperson with UPS, her company’s involvement will be picking up test kits from providers and then shipping them to the community testing sites. UPS will additionally collect samples and ship them to participating labs. It will also hold kits in inventory if space is an issue.
