UPS why do they not DRUG TEST??

I have always wondered why this company does not drug test Drivers or p/t employees. I know that if they did it would be impossible to staff a building but is it about the turnover and the cost I assume

Cost would be my guess . Plus if they did drug test they wouldn't have very many workers left.

No need to justify the cost unless its required or there is cause to need a test. Not nearly as much an issue if you work inside.

Probably because it wasn't bargained for in negotiations except in certain instances. In feeders I am subject to random drug testing.

I'm sure it's also not cost effective to drug test part-time employees when 85% won't last more than a few weeks.

You can also look in the contract regarding substance abuse, it takes up 25% of the language.
