UPS's electric and autonomous Trucks are already functioning at the London distribution centre - Marketwatch

The Package Delivery company UPS has begun feasibility testing of its new electric trucks TSBM (“Game changers” in Logistics) manufactured by Gaussin. Although Truckload Drivers will travel in the initial phase of the tests in his cabin, within a year these same tests will do without them to be carried out autonomously. The TSBM’s will move inside the London Hub in London, UPS Store centre in the British capital.

UPS (United Parcel Service) continues to expand its electrified fleet, now collaborating with the French company Gaussin, which already has 50,000 vehicles working around the world. Gaussin and Ups Employees team have been collaborating closely since 2018 to jointly develop these electric vehicles used for Supply Chain Management in enclosed areas.

The TSBMs ( Trailer and Swap Body Movers ), known in the logistics company as “shifters”.

They work through the official Upsers portal for UPS Company.
