Vacation Contract Question

I have searched thru all the past threads and can't seem to find an answer to this question. If you were hired under a contract where you get 3 weeks of vacation after 8 years (2008-2013) and the new contract (2018-2023) it is after 10 years... do they go off the contract when you were hired or the new contract? Must be someone out there who knows. No one in my building has a clue.

It should be in your local supplement, if you are grandfathered in.

The 2008-2013 contract and even the current contract 2018-2023 you receive your 3rd week of vacation at 10 years of service. Vacations are based off of your seniority date of when you started at the company.

Copied right from 2008-2013 New England Supplement:

(c) Employees whose eighth (8th) anniversary date falls on or after April 1, 1991, shall be entitled to three (3) weeks of vacation with pay in each year.
