I'm a preloader out of BC, Canada and have a question concerning Vacation Pay. I decided to cash out my pay early this year and had been told it would be a 2 week process. Sure enough after 2 weeks I did not receive it. I asked my Preload manger about it and he assured me he had put it in and sometimes it could be a bit slow, and I would receive it in 24-48 hours (over the weekend) Sure enough I did not. Monday, I went right to our Shop Steward (said I wanted to file a grievance, as I felt I was in the right to do so) which he basically shrugged off and said there wasn't much I could do (which I didn't believe to be true) I was then told AGAIN by a manger that it would take another 24-48 hrs to get the money. Which ofcourse is still yet to come......
Do I have a case here?
