[QUOTE="browned out, post: 3730919, member: 8105"] Voting no for everything is a solid move. In the Central States; we need the master to be voted down. Our supplement is horrible and will be forced upon us if the master passes. Solidarity is what makes us bigger than the union and more powerful than the company. Stick together and vote this piece of garbage down. The company and the union refuse to answer very important questions regarding major issues in working conditions and pay. We need actual answers. Until we get those answers; I feel the union and ups are bargaining in bad faith and that the union is not fulfilling its duty of fair representation in contract negotiation. Easy questions; No Answers. Here are a few questions about missing language regarding RPCDs and 22.4s. 1. How will OT be awarded? RPCDs should have the 1st right to all OT. It is a Union hallmark to award OT based on seniority. 2. All OT should be offered on a voluntary basis and then if needs are not met; force from the bottom up with 22.4s being forced 1st and then RPCDs being forced. 3. There is no language regarding uniform start times for RPCDs. RPCDs start times have been between 8 and 9 AM for decades. This language should be added protecting consistent start times. 4. New language has created the whole new classification of 22.4s with a guarantee of 8 hours per day, 5 consecutive days for 40 hours per week. Why didn't the union protect current full time drivers with the same language? "If available" is not equivalent to Guaranteed. I am voting NO until these blatant language issues are corrected.
