Message: <blockquote data-quote="1whofan" data-source="post: 3733571" data-attributes="member: 73646"><p>We all need to talk to our shop stewards or BA's and let them know the concerns we have about the contract, lack of interest and 20% voter turnout is why we continue to get these type of contracts.  That's on us we need to show the company and the IBT that the days of apathy when it comes to negotiations and acceptance of contracts that are pushed down our throats are over.  In all the meetings I've been to the union tells me the #1 issue was the pension and they tell me they've delivered, I've responded how can you say that if there hasn't been a bump in the 25 and out pension in years and how can you look a 4yr P/T union member in the face and tell him or her that it's a great contract that a new hire will make $13 to your $13.70.</p></blockquote><p></p>
