It's just the fact that a sup can't just ask the driver about the time...it's always a trust issue.ups doesn't trust their employees..have to get the technology out...whatever

But just ask the driver about the time is exactly what the sup did do in this instance. There was no mistrust, just a simple question. Without the technology in this case the sup most likely would not have asked the driver about the time, becuase the sup likely would have been unaware of the time.

Its an empowerment thing.A sup who is physically incapable of doing your job now has the tools needed to feel adequate by saying "I am watching you. I cant fit in the jump seat, but I can see you".
