From huge regional black outs to poorly executed buy outs to heavy NFC fines to moves into deregulated utility market and back to the regulated market to dividend cuts, to environmental failings etc etc.The news about Householder and Generation Now is nothing new . The difference now is that a Republican house speaker in a GOP controlled legislature conspired to use a troubled Ohio based utility in a &quot;pay for play&quot; scheme. The problem facing FE is that it&#039;s generation costs from running a bunch of old nukes and coal plants are too high. And when this is all over more than 4000 people will be out of a job if FE has to go from a power generation company to strictly a power supplier company .
