Welcome to the new 8-hour normal

After this past quarter results I have a feeling overtime and stops per car is going to go up
I wonder that too but also wonder if ups will bite the bullet, so to speak, and continue with this “no overtime extra routes on” mandate in order to set a new low water mark for the stock. Then from here on out try to show better year over year returns with this new plan.

It's always about the numbers. They may continue this charade for a little bit but it won't last

Another big chunk of my route is being dispatched elsewhere this week.

Two days now, I have had my deliveries done (except the inside apartments at my break and letterbox location) by 3:00.

My dispatch will be under 8 hours.

Personally, I was fine with the way it has been for years (9 to 10 hour days) as long as they followed 9.5 compliance, but I guess it is a new era.
Doesn't it seem strange when it is 7 pm and you are done with dinner?
