A&D Cream is the way to go. The Walmart brand is too runny and fades after a bit. The Target brand works well but A&D works best.

They are expensive but they wear and last very well.
I bought 10 pair over 5 years ago and they still wear like brand new.
Don't dry on High in the dryer as the elastic will lose it's elasticity.
