About to head to the package factory. One thing about this peak is the inability to predict it. Told my wife it will either be light (home by 4:00) or tell the in-laws to keep a plate warm for me. No matter just be safe.

Leaving for work in a few myself, I'm expecting lots of resi stops to replace my 50 pickup stops. And a late air meet at some point in the day.

14 hours yesterday. Delivered 155 stops, gave 15 to my loop buddy and EC'd 32.
When I called in my timecard was informed by management that today would not be much better per forecast.
I do not plan on being home before 10pm.

Good luck out there today. At home drinking beer and eating spritz cookies. First time in 27 years I have not worked xmas eve.

Expecting a bunch of packages from UPS today, already got a text from the driver that delivers to my house saying he will be here between 11 and noon.

Time to watch some porn I think.

I had a heavy business route and not making pickups made a huge difference on Christmas Eve. Unless I then got sent to help some garbage split with 12 hours of work (from other loops but UPS likes to send the "lucky" few to always help others.

I will say highly unlikely everything gets delivered at my center. Still going to be a lot of EC tomorrow. Glad I'm not an evening clerk.

I had schools that would order a lot before they go on break and not worry about whether anyone would be there for delivery. So future to first week of January and the drivers get hammered by schools then.

we had 200 stops done by 4:15.. went and helped with another 25 before 5.. they had my driver headed to the next town over when he dropped me off. the only business we did was CVS for the pharmacy.

it's been fun again. won't be able to be a helper next year due to school
