In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a small bowl mix egg,milk, oil and vanilla well. Make a well in the center of flour mixture and add the egg mixture. Beat with a wooden spoon 1 minute until evenly moistened. Spoon evenly in prepared pan.
