When am I on the union?

I recently started working at UPS in March as a PT loader and I was wondering since they take union dues out of my check every week does that mean I am on the union?

If you work in a closed shop you are automatically in the union after you complete your 30 days.

Dues don't start until the completion of the 30 days. If you're paying dues, You're in the union.
