Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4593886" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>Likely?  The Japanese overran East Asia and most of the western Pacific.  In China alone it's estimated they killed 20 million.  They enslaved 90,000 Korean and Filipina women to sexually service their army.  You need to realize that the U.S. military wasn't just fighting for fighting's sake.  We liberated those countries.  And we may have been a little late joining the war in Europe but we were THE military fighting the Japanese.  Japan was responsible for all that misery and they paid a terrible price for it.  To their credit they changed their culture after surrendering and have been a good ally.</p></blockquote><p></p>
