That's how the sups treated me when I was an hourly, and I don't intend to ruin the trust that has been built over many years. Luckily we're small enough to not get noticed. Though we are getting Orion soon, so that may change... I can be friendly and still follow the contract. I respect the contract. That is our deal with each other. It existed long before I showed up and long after I'm gone. I don't intend to mess with it. It can be tough to have crack down on certain things. I mean I trained pretty much everybody on my sort when I was an hourly. But the thing is they know my expectations and they know we have goals that need to be hit. I don't talk down to people. When something gets screwed up we discuss how we can prevent it from happening again. And we have yet to have multiple instances. I talk with my guys, not down to them. 68 on roads :O. My goodness. I can't figure out someone doesn't sit down and say "What the hell is going on there?" Well I can't exactly fire a driver. They don't work for me. Like I said before, it is really difficult to get fired from my center. I have not seen anybody fired in my time there. How exactly can sups get someone foreclosed on? We aren't a bank.
