People like Tyler are trying to prevent the same kind of hit to workers AND the Union that the UAW and its members took when they were told they needed a two-tier wage for their company to survive after the last economic crash.
We’re in a great economy and UPS is fine. There’s no excuse for IBT leaders and their salesmen to be micro-dicked sellouts other than their personal interests.
People like Denis are secretly inserting deplorable working conditions into the anus of members. 22.4 is the new RTW. Screw that guy. He’s the worst Teamsters in our history.
He wants to turn in into the UAW. He had the Taj Mahal of job as a prison guard and the Scott Walker messed it up. He was set and then his miserable mom told him to come work at the same place that has made her miserable for the last 20 years. He also got his degree at the age of 19. He has to be pretty sharp to do that and end up driving at UPS.
Thats what they said about Par-Time feeder drivers in the Eastern Region last contract and we are still alive and kicking.

He headed to UPS because Scott Walker couldn’t get to it. And nobody expected IBT leadership to actually Scott Walker the Union and its employees from within.
Not sure what a part time feeder driver is. Doesn’t exist.
We don't have to worry about part-time feeder jobs. By the time this 5 year contract is up Coyote drivers will probably have UPS ID's to expedite their entrance to UPS facilities.
Sure, they will hire more sleeper teams but this language is going to kill new feeder job creation. Maintain the runs you currently have and contract everything else.

The problem is, the union thinks the language will be used one way, those of us down in the trenches see it how it will actually be used.
This is where the disconnect between what is expected and what is going on happens.
Much like how @BigUnionGuy calls me a liar about having 1000+ grievances in local 728 backed up. Yet, he hasn’t even called them to simply ask.
