A Wildcat strike will not happen and should not happen. I am just reiterating the absolutely corrupt hoffa/taylor and their minion locals claim that "you run the risk of a work stoppage without further review by the members" Really? Are we going to be locked out right before peak? Or is the Corrupt company controlled Hoffa/Taylor team going to call a strike? If a strike is ordered by the Teamsters (0% chance); what do you think President Orange would do? Would he do the same as Clinton? The editorial also pointed out that, according to the Wall Street Journal, UPS expected President Bill Clinton to invoke the anti-union Taft-Hartley Act to order the Teamsters back to work. Clinton, for his own political reasons, chose not to do so--but did use his power to ban a rail strike a few weeks later. (from https://socialistworker.org/2017/08/04/when-we-beat-the-bosses) There is an almost 0% chance of any work stoppage due to UPS locking us out, The Teamsters calling a strike, and the non-existent threat of a wild cat strike. The Hoffa Teamsters should be ashamed of themselves for threatening UPS workers with a work stoppage. They are absolute pieces of garbage. They lost the general election in the US because of UPS drivers and employees being fed up with the Teamsters/UPS collusion and parasitic behavior towards UPS employees. This contract gets voted down.....even after the heavily coordinated scare tactics of UPS and the Hoffa Teamsters.
