I would assume it depends on who pays your pension. UPS doesn't pay out my pension. My 1099-R is from Prudential/Western Conference of Teamsters.

Once you pass 65 and I am, you will get a UPS Statement via Mellon and a Statement from Central States. You can also access both online via the designated websites which I would highly recommend you sign up for.
