Maybe someone can give me an answer. I had been on workers comp for 9 months since November 2015 due to a bad shoulder, my question is if after a year would I lose my health insurance with BCBS. Not sure how that works. Thanks.

You have the option to pay for Cobra insurance. It will cost around $900.00 a month depending where you are located.

I doubt you are going to get Cobra insurance for 4 people for $900. Heck--my wife pays almost $700 a month just for medical for herself. When I retired I checked on it out of curiosity and they wanted $1200 for just us two.

If your on comp i'm surprised the union hasn't cancelled your ins already. Next you will probably have a fax war with Aetna.
