So if i have 55hrs by friday will i be working?
Sounds like you have 5 more hours you can give the company. Don't make plans.
Need 8 available here.
They ods us today asking for 20-25 drivers for sat 2-3.5 hours.. Replied no, should be good but you never know..
We need 4, I wont be there.
We have 14, that are scheduled for 12 hours each. They will be adding more drivers. Gotta love this area.
call in sick if they insist on you working.... BC
Keep going over 11 and you wont be working xmas eve.
I signed up for it.
As of last night my center manager was not sure of his staffing needs for Christmas Eve but still intends to force from the bottom up. He said that this will depend upon how much volume is still left in the system and how many send agains we have in our center. I wouldn't think the snowstorm in the Plains would have that much of an effect upon our volume here in the east. I want to work so that one of the younger guys can spend the day with his family.
The secret to not working Saturday is to punch out every day after 9pm
1 down 4 to go
Not working Sat. Not working Fri either.
I figure why not work one more day before i am laid off. Yay
the storm in the plains could affect the rail by a day, thus loads showing up a little later so volume could be heavy on fri and may process some for Sat...JMO !
Only running normal Saturday air here. Volunteers, Sat. Air Drivers and then forcing bottom up if need be. I find it hard to believe any Center would plan for drivers to work 12 hours.
Just what I was told. It does not surprise me, but as I said-word of mouth.
