Alright, so... Don't show up if they tell me to stay home and simply ride the rapids till my 30 day evaluation is up. I can do that, I don't want too because I need the paycheck and losing days makes me feel uneasy but I can do that...

Even after your 30 working days UPS can still lay you off day to day. We have a new driver who has only worked 3 or 4 days a week since peek ended in January. With a new baby. Let him work some Saturdays to help. It's tough when you are new. Come vacation time will not be able to buy a day off. Hang in there.

If it is an actual layoff, at least the person could collect though.
