This is why schools and gov'ts are going bankrupt, not all because of inefficiencies as the powers want to lead you on, but because they are being bled of planned income. Another industry wide problem for sure. That said, the rules have to change because an Accountant/Financier wouldn't be worth minimum wage if they didn't know how to work these loopholes legally, they'd be fired and replaced with someone who does 10 out of 10 times. So since it is there to be had, it has to happen. Simply need more laws, but it is tough sledding in congress right now.

Don't kid yourself, they ain't paying because they found ways not to. Anything else doesn't matter. If I could save a buck I would. The point is, are these off-shore accounts against the system? What is the corp rate right now around 35%, congress has talked about 25%'ish percent. But even then they are still going to do it because they are really paying sub 5%. So you see, unless there are just plain ole laws saying you cannot do this, they will continue, because no one is talking about a 5% corporate tax rate.

And now you know why we will never have a "Flat Tax" across the board. Because these precious loop holes would be eliminated and we cant have that. What would the heads do without that extra 40 grand in their pockets. With so many people in love with the second amendment, it would be very easy for a version of the French revolution to happen in this country. Only question, would the military back the elites or the working man.

Without a doubt. Here's a test of character business or for a friend next door. Ask them what they pay in taxes, if they tell you the gross, don't trust them, if they tell you their net, they are cool. The point is we only pay net. But a lot of people whine and use their gross as their bitching point... it's whining and begging. Most corps will cry and whine about their gross rate, which is fantasyland and not worth talking about, cause it ain't realz.

This is the same Fred S that is constantly complaining that the corporate tax rate is oppressive and needs to be lowered, probably to the point where FedEx pays no taxes at all. Double-speak from a liar of huge proportion.

Your point being? That link doesn't tell me anything that isn't practiced by every big company. As long as the loopholes are there, they will be used......count on it.
