They require a minimum buy in (investment) for each owner/employee. But the government offers services to help make the employee buy out process more streamlined and accessible. The US has small business development services, which is similar. I have never had an issue with co-ops, other than I don't think they are generally as efficient as corporate structure, but corporate structure has its drawbacks, so loss of efficiency may be a reasonable trade off. Co-ops just aren't the same thing as socialism.</blockquote>
