[QUOTE="cheryl, post: 674913, member: 1"] No one from UPS or anywhere else has ever asked me for any info or data or anything at all. We don't require or collect any personally identifiable information so I don't anticipate that this will ever happen. The only info we have about accounts are ip's and email addresses. Unless you have access to the resources of law enforcement that's not really enough information to figure out someone's identity. That is unless someone is posting from a UPS owned computer. In that case if someone from UPS had the ip then they could figure out where the computer is and probably figure out who was using it. Legally this site is private property and the server is secured. The only ones with legal access to our database are me and the tech support staff at the hosting company that maintains our server. Should this situation ever arise I'd have to immediately get real legal advice, but I do believe that theoretically a subpoena would be necessary to force the release of anything. It would be more likely that if someone could be identified it would be because of personally identifiable information displayed in their public profile or in their posts on the forum. It would be far easier to identify someone that way than by using the minuscule amount of info we keep on the admin side. BTW, don't use our forum for illegal activities. If law enforcement ever asks me for the ip and email of someone that has used our forum for distributing kiddie porn, selling stolen goods or anything else that's illegal I'll be very cooperative with them...
