Are there any exceptions to the UPS One year re-hire policy?

So I worked there for 8 months but I unfortunately had to move. I'm actually back where a UPS ground is and I'm just wondering if it's possible to get back on?

Apply online...it couldn't hurt to try. Worst case scernario, they don't hire you back.

I've seen people leave after less than a year and come back. So when they tell you you'll get a no rehire status if you quit, that's not exactly ironclad... If the application doesn't let you finish, you're done though. My understanding is only the FT sup you worked under before can change a rehire status; your local HR cannot.

I hear this all the time on here, but I've never once heard the policy at work. As long as you left on good terms you're going to be put on positive rehire.
