I honestly don't think that Mr. Fedex really hijacked that thread. Just my opinion As for inserting God into secular things that have nothing to do with God well we don't have to abide by the U.S. Constitution here in Brown cafe. There is no separation of church and state of affairs here. If someone can insert a blessing into a situation via invoking God, let him. If the blessing is ineffective due to the person or if his God doesn't exist or work in that fashion then it has no ill effect, just no effect. If an atheist wants to leave "Dog spelled backwards" out of a post, then that's fine too. We are not going to agree with each other on a lot of things here. It's a buffet table. Take what and how much of what you like and leave what you don't behind. I agree with a lot of what you say Mr. Fedex and you made some valid points here too . People , I don't think Fedex really hijacked that thread. There were a lot of raw emotions in that thread and he might have gotten the brunt of some that. Anyway God Bless you all and the United States of America(and I'll throw in something else that we don't hear too often) and the rest of the world Little story, a few years back in the persian gulf war(with George Herbert Walker as Pres), some work buddy suggested that we should pray for our troops. I thought that was a fine thought but I thought it would be even finer that we would pray for the troops on the other side of the war as well for after all we are all God's children. He didn't like that idea too much as you very well may imagine. But theologically, it was more sound than his narrower point of view. P.S. I would Like to think that all dogs go to heaven for If I end up there, it wouldn't be heaven without dogs.
