He did have a life that positively impacted a lot of people before he killed his victims.

He was exonerated in court, just not in the court of public opinion, including mine.

Kind of a stupid thing to even acknowledge from the White House, though.

Would it now be a good time to release that tv pilot called Frogmen ?
Frogmen is an early 1994 pilot movie intended for the NBC Network for an action series. The story, which was described as being akin to "The A-Team", concerned a crack team of Navy SEALS often on special government assignments from their headquarters in Miami.
Notably, O.J. Simpson was cast as the team's leader, John "Bullfrog" Burke.
Simpson's character was portrayed as an expert with knives and Simpson underwent some knife fighting training in preparation for the role.

The White House failed to mention the civil trial. Too busy defending OJ's legacy.

Wasn't Simpson known for beating up woman as well?

Radio heads today were saying that yes most of the jury knew he was guilty but let him off to revenge what happened to Rodney King. ( who didn't die but became rich )

OJ had some income.
NFL pension somewhere between $125,000 and $300,000.
He also had $42,000 a year in Social Security.
Still owes around $100M in civil judgement.
Of which he only paid $133,000 .

Saw Alan Dershowitz, who was an OJ lawyer, explain last night why OJ got off. Said yes there was a mountain of evidence linking him to the crime. But the state had submitted as evidence a blood soaked sock that had OJ's and Nicole's blood intermingled on it. The problem was it also had traces of a chemical not found in humans in the blood. A chemical found in test tubes used to run forensic tests. So the police had to have planted the blood on the sock. That produced a reasonable doubt. The state had a slam dunk case but the police tried to insure a conviction and got caught. The L.A.P.D. had such a bad reputation with the public that the jury sent a message by not convicting OJ.

After all these years that was the first time I had heard a plausible explanation of why they didn't convict him.
