The Tea Party is a fringe movement. Unfortunately for the GOP, they have moved the Republicans so far to the Right that it is damaging the brand...badly. Obama is no Socialist. If anything, he has become a very moderate centrist. The Right has become so extreme that even moderates get portrayed as fire-breathing Socialists. Your "runaway spending"(read stimulus)is probably what saved this country from sinking into a full Depression. Obama has been a much more responsible President than his predecessor when it comes to spending, and there is no "leftist vision". On a side note, whatever Bill Ayers was, he is no longer. People change. I actually met Ayers a few years ago and have read 2 of his books on education. He's Left, but certainly no longer radical, and a highly respected professor and author. I know the Right loves to portray Ayers as an Obama advisor, which he isn't, but apparently living in the Chicago area is enough to make an evil connection between the two of them. As I have said before, the Right will drag-up anything they can to harm Obama, even if it's an outright lie. And smart Tea Party politicians know how to get a rise (and votes) out of their dingbat base. So do the talkers on the Right. Too bad they don't actually think through what O'Reilly and Hannity say instead of just accepting it as Fox "truth".
