My buddy(cousin) had 3 retirees from your old station go by, mentioned you swung by, if he was correct... WTF were you doing there lol. If i retired i would never step foot there again, except to ship a package.

I never understood why retirees come up around Christmas. We usually have two or three. The only way I would do it is if they got me a nice comfy chair and I could laugh and point at all the suckers. Meaning me.

We haven't gotten over to the coast yet, but my brother and family just arrived, and we're headed for Beaufort and up to the Outer Banks tomorrow. We have been to New Bern a couple of times, neat area.

Cool, you are near Emerald Isle, the crystal coast.
A little further north is what they call the Outer Banks.
If your plans include Hatteras just be aware that the big bridge is out up there.
And if you get anywhere near Goldsboro, make sure to stop in at Wilber's,it is legendary NC BBQ old time style..
