November 1, 2011 @ 5:03 pm | “The View” Hags Seeking To Host GOP Presidential Debate…

The candidates would have to be out of their minds to go through with it.
NEW YORK — During the 2008 presidential race, both then-Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain stopped by to chat with the ladies of “The View,” an indication that political candidates see value in reaching the daytime talk show audience.

But this election cycle, producers for the ABC show are wading even deeper into political waters with hopes of hosting a daytime presidential debate. A spokesman for “The View” confirmed that requests have been sent to Republican campaigns but declined to speak further about any interest so far. The debate would take place during the show’s 11 a.m. EST time slot.

While “The View” has had luck booking political figures in the past, the producers may run into trouble getting Republican candidates to sign on for a debate given the number of recent primetime contests and plans for another seven debates before the end of the year. Next week, both CNBC and CBS News are

Here's the line up for the people who will ask questions at the debate.....apparently, only left leaning commentators are allowed to ask questions. I sure hope the debaters themselves can challenge each other with FACTS about the economy.

PBS Jim Lehrer, first Pres debate, Oct 3 Denver

CNN Candy Crowley, town hall, Oct 16, Hempstead NY

CBS Bob Schieffer, third Pres debate, Oct. 22, Boca Raton

ABC Martha Radditz, VP debate, Oct 11, Danville KY

Geez, reading the topic of the thread I thought you were going to be happy that two of the debates are being moderated solely by women...

Since the function of the debate moderator is (supposed) to be unbiased and objective, should it matter all that much?

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.
On tonight's debate, Kasich was the only adult.
Trump & Rubio behaved like 3rd graders.
Cruz was so-so.
In all fairness, Rubio warned he was going after Trump today.

Trump had 2 choices, fight back or not fight back.

Trump only really had the 1 choice.

Rubio's done.

We don't need a pill popper as president.

I have a feeling Rubio has been told.

Do whatever you have to to take down Trump. We will funnel you all of the money you need.

Just remeber us when you're elected....

There are videos on fb and youtube of Rubio, at rallies and on stage, putting his right hand in his pocket, and while on stage still, sneaking his hand to his mouth and putting something in it.

It's not gum, because he never chews.

And it is obvious he is trying to hide it.

I think Chris Christie gave him a nervous breakdown on that debate stage, and these are anti-depressants or anti-anxiety pills.

Or he could be hooked on pain pills like Rush Limbaugh was.

Just wait til Trump humiliates him in his home state.
Rubio will drop out before Florida, if he doesn't win another state by then and doesn't improve in the Florida polls.

If he gets his butt kicked in Florida, his future political career is over.
