I know there are controls on the DIAD for volume, contrast of screen, etc. Does anybody know how to access these controls. Thanks in advance.

I was also unaware that there were volume controls. Whenever the volume on mine doesn't work I just throw it against the ground and it usually comes back.

This is what I do with non-functioning electronics as well.

I am dead serious, works like a charm. I lost the screen and volume while out delivering so i said lets try something. Dropped it from about 2 feet and everything came back.

I've heard 5k and 3k. I've thrown the thing, um, I mean accidentally "dropped" it. I've also tried A,K,X hard reset. Damn thing is mute. That sucks at a bulk stop where you have to look at the screen to make sure it scanned all 50 packages.

It's there, I've seen a guy changing contrast and volume. The guy I seen doing it has been on vac for the last 2 weeks.

Could be the new DIAD that he's talking about. Have no experience with it.

I am personally a big fan of the 12-gauge 00 buck reformat.
