Correct me if i'm wrong but the 5-Day Intergrad Driver Training is an 8 hour a day course required to start a career at UPS as a driver. After just stating the obvious it consist of memorizing the 10-point commentary/5 seeing-habits complete with a written exam at the end of the course , completing a DIAD IV CBT ( computer based training ), signing multiple papers giving you certification for certain procedures, and a road test. Those who fail to complete any of the listed requirements are failed. I heard the failure rate was 2 out of every 10 but that was from our instructor. As far as being hard? No, it isn't hard at all but being on the road can be unpredictable especially having to drive the ups school bus around equipped with a spicer ( that's what we use at least ) for the first time. It's hard to get used to the size of a UPS truck considering only 2 of the 40 hour program consist of on-road practice and some maybe be more of a nerve wreck than others.
