FedEx driver, 22, dies in crash on Interstate 4 - Tampa Bay Times

A 22-year-old FedEx driver died on Interstate 4 Tuesday when a tire blew out on his freight truck, which veered into the path of a Chevrolet Volt, state troopers said.

As the car spun after impact, the FedEx truck tumbled into the center median, ripped through a guard rail and rolled onto the driver’s side, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

The FedEx driver, who wore no seat belt, died at the scene, troopers reported.
