Philadelphia-bound plane was over Altoona when laser illuminated cockpit

Federal investigators will try to determine who shined a laser that temporarily blinded the pilots of a United Parcel Service flight from Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.

The pilots were treated for their injuries at a suburban Philadelphia hospital.

The FAA is investigating.
