Conspiracy theory? Your illiteracy is overwhelming. A conspiracy is a secret act.....you are advocating and promoting socialism in practically every post you submit. Your anal craniotomy is long overdue.
OK, I need a good laugh so give me specific examples of exactly what sectors of the American economy are in your opinion in danger of being nationalized.

It has everything to do with it. When a person finds themselves in a similar position laying there on an ER gurney fighting for every breath with no insurance and little available cash they are at that point very much a ward of the state with their care and recovery completely in the control and oversight of the US Department Of Health And Human Services. and quite likely government over reach and government over spending the last thing on their minds. Much more likely the only thing on their mind was.......am I going to die?
You're avoiding the question. Do you think government should be in complete control of our lives? Your avoidance speaks volumes.

Let's try this another way. Every person at sometime in their life will need skilled nursing care. Now when you go to a skilled nursing facility after the 21 days of full Medicare and 90 partially paid care it becomes full self pay until that person is down to just $2500 in personal assets before they can get Medicaid. That means you give them your house, your car, your bank account , your savings your pension and that goes to pay your care until all you've got left is $2500.

Now why don't hospitals require the same for people with no insurance? Make them post a security deposit the size of which will depend on the estimated cost of the procedure. No security deposit no procedure It would be like posting an escrow. You keep $2500 and if there's anything left after the procedure the balance is refunded to you.

BTW Why does it not apply to you? What if the nation's social welfare system had collapsed earlier and not there for you in your time of need what would you have done if instead you would have had to post that security deposit?

The people FDX kicking back out into the economy could find themselves with a medical emergency similar to yours. If so should they be denied public benefits. If you believe they should be state your reasons.
All depends- I am on Medicare and have a Medicare Supplement Plan G. Which is very easy to pay each month as I do not have to pay a state income tax in Florida. My supplement pays every single skilled nursing charges that Medicare does not cover.

Man, this thread went off the rails. It was about the four SW Florida stations closing in July. Any insight on other Express stations on the chopping block?

I saw posted in the large Facebook group yesterday, a poster mentioned that with the great scare of June 1st approaching so quickly, that FDX has stopped all the mergers and that any stations that have been closed will be re-opend with any employees coming back going right to the top step. Something about the TNT merger disaster.

Wonder how many people fell for that considering most people have no clue what the June 1st date is all about.

Now you're trying to say that ALL perfectly healthy people buy health insurance? That otherwise healthy people never have medical emergencies? That all healthy people who have kids buy health insurance to make certain that their kids will get the care they need? (LMAO).
You're responding to the wrong poster again.

I've lost count of how many times someone has told me that June 1st is when they flip the switch on rolling all Express freight to Ground and getting rid of virtually all Express couriers. I told them that no, that's when the integration of the corporate side of things is slated to launch. They tell me that I'm wrong and that's when everyone loses their jobs. I tell them that they've been getting rid of duplicate positions in the opcos and transitioning the remaining positions into place so that they can perform their duties in the integrated FedEx. They ask me how I know and I tell them--- because I'm involved in it, my some of my duties have changed, my home location has changed, and so on. Then I ask them how they know it's going to be The End Day.

They saw it on Facebook or Reddit. I do what I can to reassure them that that's not the case, they tell me that I'm lying, and I just laugh and let it go. If they're intent on losing sleep with worry, I won't stop them.

Let's face it, fedex fails at everything. It is more likely the company will bankrupt and go out of business rather than a successful merger of multiple companies.
