    Welcome to the brown caf`e .My grandmother was Scottish and I grew up with her thick accent.I still use her expressions today....
    Augh its a load`o tripe...
    I`m gaein` doon ta the cellar...
    (when we had fish n chips)She`d ask me
    to save her the wee `ard aines....
    I dunna ken what thier on aboot...
    She loved her "corrie"(coronation street)
    I miss her...post more often! We love it when
    people from other countries log on.

    I didn't do it this time, it was g6vba that necroposted (with his 2nd post, I might add) and he probably wasn't even aware that he was doing it.

    Edmunston I believe,not proud to admit it,but I'm somehow related to Burke or Hare,the famous grave robbers.
     
  13. I have been to Scotland about 75 Times (sometimes I flew over for the weekend) I love it over there. I have many friends. (oh Aye even a Campbell) I have seen Glen coe where it happened. My best friends is from Scotland a town called Cumbernauld. where there is a big UPS depot. He even wore a Prince Charles Kilt to my wedding. Me and the Husband might be going over for Hogmanay (New Years)
