[QUOTE="overflowed, post: 1558876, member: 44109"] I was driving with my wife on a beautiful summer day on a coastal highway. Weekend, just had lunch, driving home. I see about 40 motorcycles driving in the opposite lane different races, different types of bikes. They were obviously a local bike club. I was thinking how much I wanted to grab a bike since I hadn't had one for a while, just seemed so cool seeing all of them. As I was thinking that, I'm looking at one particular bike and the front end starts shaking violently. Flips into oncoming traffic, hits the car in front of me, and launches about 70 feet into the air and almost lands on my car if I didn't brake. Lands on the curb on his neck about 5 feet from my hood. Wife screaming, dog screaming, baby screaming. I used to be an EMT, get out do compressions till the medics get there. Was dead when I checked him. I no longer wanted a bike anymore. It made me realize that no matter how good of a driver you are, on two wheels it doesn't make that much of a difference. From that accident a 26 year old man died and I now move away from motorcycles in traffic as a result. Not knocking you riders decisions, but at least wear a helmet. I used to be one. Please.
