*knock knock* hey, you guys got any coffee?
A lot of the people working at the Ramps are working two and three jobs. Or they were at the ramp I worked at.
I wonder why, with our industry leading wages and all...
How in the hell could someone sleep through all the noise associated with an airport operation?
Sounds like a scenario of "how funny would it be if I stayed in the plane" gone wrong.
Does he get paid for that time?
Pilots probably themselves when they heard that knock.
They were probably thinking of the incident when the pilots got attacked with a hammer.
They wear hearing protection out on the ramp.
Knowing FedEx, they'll probably charge him for getting a flight to Texas.
And an OLCC for not taking a break for working over 6 hours.
You have a bad attitude.
Or fire him, and charge him too.
I think they'll pull his pants down and spank him in front of the entire hub as a deterrent to others who may have similar plans of snoozing during loading ops.
I'm thinking a new policy that requires that the plane be completely off-loaded after being loaded to do a double check for sleeping Hub workers. An executive VP position will need to be created called VP of Employee Container Security. We will all need to watch a video and then sign-off that we will be fired if we fall asleep in a can.
They arrest the guy on landing. Really? I'm sure he had ID, and it seems like even a cop from Texas could figure it out.
I'm just curious what should they have done with him? I mean he was on the plane illegally right? Arrest first, figure out later. He's lucky it didn't happen here our trigger happy Sheriffs dept likely would have shot and killed him as a terrorist.
Did they open the door? It didn't say. I would think no?
There are a bunch of articles from 2 days ago. a few suggest that they did not open the door. One article says he works two jobs.
I wonder if they'll pay him for "being on the job"
