New Democrat Plan To Tax The Rich, Taxing Assets. Will It Work?

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
We'll see how powerful your mighty union is come 12:01AM on 8-01-23. In fact FDX has already begun making plans to address shippers needs if you guys decide to hit the bricks.

Indeed, you are a dues paying member but all it gets you is the right to complain out about matters that pertain to your union. You tell me...what else does it entitle you to?

Not in the least. But, given the precarious state of labor unions today and their steadily weakening power if I were you I would withhold criticism of all labor unions including public sector unions. Not only is it not helping it's counter productive to the efforts of labor unions to preserve the diminishing power they have remaining.

No, just honest. El Paso is nothing like the other cities you cited. I lived less than a 100 miles from there in two different towns and went there often. Very familiar. You're making assumptions but you are wrong.
I went through there once a week.

Tell us more about how a border town next to the deadliest city on Earth is unaffected.......My God you make it sound like quaint USA.........some sort of movie.

Getting public funding for public education requires votes and it has been the beneficiary of numerous DEMOCRAT sponsored public education bills including the public school that employ's you That's assuming of course that you actually teach in one. If you do then based on what your saying you have most definitely economically benefited courtesy of collective bargaining which you should be expected to know was a Democrat legislative initiative. Try denying the fact that you haven't benefited .

On Friday Rep. Scott Perry chairman of the so called "Freedom Caucus" put out a new set of demands. The group's demands call for an immediate 25% cut in ALL federal spending except defense ANNUALLY for at least the next DECADE. If they don't get their way they have sufficient votes to drive the federal government into default.

As a hard line conservative, why would you NOT want this to happen? It is entirely in keeping with your extreme right wing ideology. Banks everywhere you look would would be failing by the minute in a manner similar to the Silicone Valley Bank failure we saw on Friday and it happens to be the nation's second largest bank. Furthermore hospitals and nursing homes would close up overnight. Sixty six percent of total revenues received by the regional healthcare system that covers my area comes from Medicare. And nationwide 62% of all nursing home residents are on Medicaid following the exhaustion of their personal savings.....And can you guarantee that you will not suffer the same fate later in life?
It's not about a meager paycheck......

It's about having girls in boys bathrooms and the other way too. Thanks to you....since we are affixing blame.

Say, have you been to an inner-city school? Any blue state will do......

Say, I can't imagine ANYONE listening to the Democrats talk about anything and not be deeply concerned....from pushing economic disaster to allowing the mutilation of sexual organs of children. For normal people......it's scary.

If you knew anything about it you'd know that cartel leadership is rumored to have their families in El Paso. There's supposed to be an agreement amongst cartels to have a hands off policy there. The other place where that's supposed to be happening is Merida in the Yucatan State. Merida was recently ranked 2nd in North American cities for safety after Quebec City. El Paso is consistently one of the safest big cities in the U.S. Whether due to cartels or not I've always found the locals generally friendly.

I don’t know am I just a dues pay member? Even if I am, that’s quite a bit.

L O L FedEx going to address shippers? they can’t even manage the ones they have.
But I’m not here to go back-and-forth about two companies. I’ll just tell you I’m not worried I’ve been here over 30 years and seen it all. And I didn’t say my union was almighty, you said I’ve been sheltered L O L you just can’t seem to keep your story straight. Perhaps the reason we were “sheltered,” as you call it was because of the members and the leader ship of the union doing what it took to represent their members? I would think someone who was in the union would understand how that works but apparently you weren’t such a great union member.
He’s just jealous.

Oh?
Tell us more.

From a guy who can't manage to live in the most prosperous and free country on earth . You have considered leaving...yes? Cause you can't make it?
What does my situation have to do with the fact that you lumped in a nice city with others that do have serious problems? Are you doing that because El Paso is mostly Hispanic?

Trying to bypass important questions I brought up. Have you or have you not economically benefited from collective bargaining?
Are you are are you not employed by a public school system? If so, do you teach in an inner city school district? If you teach in a public school and you don't like the course syllabus you're given to work off of.....then why don't you just quit?

Go to a private nonunion school. Nobody's holding you back . If that "meager paycheck" is less than you think you're worth I' m sure that there are plenty of other school systems both public and private who will pay top dollar for your extraordinary talents.
