Just what do they do? Should this be something for a package handler to look at?
Mostly complain that they don't have time to supervise. That also could be because they are in trailers loading and unloading, sorting, and all other types of union work.... jmo
I also hear they forge initials on safe work method audit sheets.
They are glorified preloaders. But they bleed just like the rest of us...muhahaha...
They don't seem to load anything the union won't let them
In my building they are really just glorified babysitters one just sits there and picks her fingernails all morning while one makes small talk with preloaders. The operation could easily run without them basically they just make sure everyone is there.
Good thing I had a cool supervisor who was laid back, but I used to hate the supervisors who were always mad at the PT Package Handlers telling them either your not loading the trailer fast enough or your walls in the trailer suck ass.
